PBAT is a copolymer of 1,4-butanediol, adipic acid and terephthalic acid. Because of the role of benzene ring structure, PBAT's tear strength is 120% of polyethylene, impact strength is 130% of polyethylene. These properties are the prerequisites for producing high performance film. PBAT is the main raw material to produce biodegradable plastic film.
